CEO Ganderbal Organizes Zonal Level Capacity Building Training Programme

Ganderbal: The Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Ganderbal successfully organized a Zonal LevelĀ  Capacity Building Training Programme for teachers, focusing on the identification of Children With Special Needs (CWSN). The training sessions were held at the Zonal Education Office (ZEO) in Kangan and at the Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) in Hariganwan.

The programme aimed to enhance the skills of teachers in recognizing and supporting CWSN, reflecting the CEO’s commitment to inclusive education. Resource persons meticulously delivered comprehensive sessions, covering each and every point necessary for effective identification and support of CWSN.

Both Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) actively participated in the programme, delivering insightful addresses that underscored the significance of inclusive education. Additionally, an overview of inclusive education was provided by the District Coordinator for Inclusive Education (IE) of Ganderbal, offering valuable insights and strategies for implementation.

Participants, comprising teachers from various schools within the zone, engaged in interactive sessions and practical exercises conducted by experts. The training covered early identification techniques, special education fundamentals, and strategies for fostering inclusive classroom environments.

Both the ZEOs emphasized the critical role of such training programmes in building an inclusive education system, expressing hope that the knowledge and skills acquired would be effectively applied in schools to benefit CWSN.

The event was a notable success, with participants leaving with a strengthened commitment to supporting children with special needs in their educational journey.
