Police arrests three gamblers in Sopore
Srinagar: Police arrested three gamblers in Sopore and seized stake money and playing cards from their possession, a police spokesman said Thursday.
He said that a police party apprehended three gamblers at Malmapanpora and recovered stake money of ₹3,780/- & playing cards from their possession. They have been identified as Nazir Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Jabbar Mir, Bashir Ahmad Malla son of Abdul Jabbar Malla and Feroz Ahmad Malla son of Ghulam Mohammad Malla, all residents of Malmapanpora Sopore.
In this connection, a case vide FIR No. 24/2024 under relevant sections of law has been registered at PS Bomai and investigation has been initiated.
