Distt SVEEP cell holds pledge-cum-awareness programme at GDC Rajouri
RAJOURI: District SVEEP cell Rajouri Monday organised a pledge-cum-awareness programme for eligible voters at Government Degree College (GDC) Rajouri under the theme ‘Chunav ka Parv, Desh ka Garv’.
As many as 500 college students participated with great enthusiasm as they took the pledge to be a part of election process.
Principal of the college, Prof. Dr. Shamim Ahmed Azad delivered an impressive talk regarding the importance of vote in democratic setup.
The pledge was read out by Prof Khalid Reyaz.
Others who spoke on the occasion include Dr. Raiz Ahmed, Coordinator and District Nodal Officer SVEEP, Prof. Mohammad Iqbal Raina.
