Police book two miscreants under the PSA
Srinagar: Police in Baramulla booked two persons under the Public Safety Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority, a police spokesman said Saturday.
The booked persons identified as Abdul Rashid Sheikh son of Ali Mohammad resident of Lalpora Kharkhal Kunzer and Mohammad Akbar Malik son of Abdul Gani resident of Lalpora Wanikhal Kunzer have been detained and subsequently lodged in District Jail Udhampur.
Pertinently, many cases are registered against these persons and were involved in disturbance of law and order and subversion, the police spokesman added.
