Police arrests for absconders in Awantipora
Srinagar: Police in Awantipora arrested four absconders who were evading their arrest from last 35 years, a police spokesman said Saturday.
“Warrant under section 512 CrPC issued by Court of JMIC Tral pending with Police Station Tral against four accused persons Wahid Bakerwal son of Shera Bakerwal, Abdul Rashid Bakerwal son of Shera Bakerwal, Abdl Aziz Bakerwal son of Shera Bakerwal, all residents of Hari Chema Kala Koot Rajouri and Maam Jan Bakerwal son of Misri Bakerwal resident of Wansoo Rajouri.
All the arrested accused persons were involved in case FIR No. 111/1989 of Police Station Tral and were evading their arrest from last 35 years. The arrests were made by a Special Police team under the supervision of SDPO Tral. Subsequently, the arrested accused persons were produced before the Court of Law, the spokesman added.
