DLC approves 25 cases under PM-FME at Kulgam
KULGAM: To discuss and dispose-off applications submitted for establishment of Micro Food Processing Units under PM-FME scheme, a meeting of District Level Committee (DLC) on Pradhan Mantri- Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) was held Saturday under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan at Mini-secretariat, here.
After threadbare discussion regarding various products, their productivity, processing perspective and market viability, the Committee approved 25 cases under the scheme for establishment of Micro Food Processing Units.
CAO and District Resource Person were instructed to guide eligible aspirants for establishment of their units properly.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Kulgam, Chief Planning officer, Chief Agriculture officer, chief Animal Husbandry officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Distt Sheep Husbandry Officer, Lead Bank Manager and other officers.
