Vail Nagbal Anantnag residents demand proper road connectivity
Anantnag:-The residents of Vail Nagbal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district have demanded proper road connectivity for the area.
The residents of the area while voicing their concerns over the lack of proper road connectivity in their area said that the lack of proper road infrastructure not only hampers daily travel but also affects access to essential services such as health care and education.
Muntazir Ahmad, a local resident said that the inadequate road connectivity poses a significant obstacle to economic development in the region, hindering transportation of goods and impending business activities.
He said that the area is close to Anantnag district headquarters but this area has been always neglected.
Bashir Ahmad, another local resident said there is a need for construction of well maintained roads in the area so that people won’t suffer.
He said that as of now locals have to go for kilometres together to reach to a motorable road.
The locals claimed to have raised the issue several times before the concerned authorities but said that nothing has been done so far.
They said that despite taking part in all electoral processes and government programmes, the area has been neglected.
They once again requested the higher officials to look into the matter at an earliest so that locals won’t suffer anymore.
