Three Weeks  Entrepreneurship  Development Programme concludes

GANDERBAL: National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Bank concluded three weeks entrepreneurship development programme in Ganderbal J&K.

Commenting on the purpose of collaborating with NIESBUD for conducting these programmes, official spokesperson of the Bank said, “As a socially conscious corporate, the J&K Bank as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, always tries to be part of such interventions that aim to encourage the culture of entrepreneurship in the UTs of J&K and Ladakh”.

“We understand the power and potential of our youth and through such training programmes our endeavor is to provide them with the basic idea about the business, market dynamics and customer relationship so that they can take informed decisions while pursuing their dreams,” he added.

The training programme was part of the initiative started by NIESBUD in collaboration with J&K Bank to aware the youth about life skills, employability and entrepreneurship opportunities available in the market and how to avail those opportunities.

The three weeks EDP covered the areas of e-commerce, market linkages, awareness regarding government schemes, entrepreneurship development, product value additions, etc. NIESBUD will be providing further handholding support to these entrepreneurs for two years to come.

Dr. Aijaz Mir representing NIESBUD in J&K thanked the J&K bank officials and the participants for making the programme a success.
