Two wheeler drivers without helmet won’t get fuel refill
Sopore: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sopore S.A Raina Wednesday directed fuel station owners not to sell or refill fuel to any two-wheeler rider who is not wearing a helmet.
Chairing a meeting with all Petrol Pump owners falling in sub-division Sopore the ADC directed the owners of Petrol Pumps/Filling Stations to stick to the government order in letter and spirit.
He also called for installing CCTV cameras with DVR in their fuel outlets within a week’s time so as to clearly capture the footage of fuel buyers.
The ADC also directed them to make Air Compressors functional within three days and night fuelling to vehicles shall be ensured for which all petrol pumps should remain open from 07 am to 10 pm. H said that fuel station owners should also provide fuel to vehicle owners in case they call them during late night hours.
The ADC also directed them that all washrooms shall be made functional at fuel stations and they should be made available for commuters.
