Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra awareness programmes organized
SRINAGAR: In order to inform and empower citizens of Srinagar District about the various flagship schemes of the Sheep Husbandry Department, a number of awareness activities were carried out in Panchayats of District Srinagar under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
The camps were held on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad in Panchayat Blocks of Sangam, Brane, Khonmoh and Zakura under the jurisdiction of CD block Qamarwari, Harwan, Khonmoh and Srinagar during which awareness were disseminated about various Departmental schemes such as ISDS, RKVY, KCC & schemes under HADP.
During the program as many as 440 KCC applications of Sheep Farmers were sponsored for sanction to various Banks for setting up of income generating Units by the beneficiaries in Srinagar District.
