Encounter breaks out in Arihal Pulwama: Police
Srinagar, Nov 30: An encounter has started between terrorists and security forces in Arihal in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
A senior police official said that a team of Police and security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Arihal on a very specific input.
As the joint team approached towards the suspected area, the hiding terrorists fired upon the joint party, leading to an encounter, the official added.
The exchange of fire was going on as the report is being filed.
