Police arrests drug peddler in Baramulla
Srinagar: Police arrested drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substances from his possession, a police spokesman said Saturday.
He said that a police party at a checkpoint established at Kripalgarh Singhpora intercepted a person identified as Adil Manzoor Sheikh son of Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh resident of Iqbal Colony Singhpora Pattan. During search, 110 grams of contraband Charas Powder like substance was recovered from his possession. He had been arrested and shifted to Police Station Pattan where he remains in custody.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Pattan and investigation has been initiated, the spokesman added.
