Doda mishap: 5 Dead, causalities likely to go up
Srinagar, Nov 15: At least five people were left dead while the toll is likely to see a surge in a tragic mishap involving a passenger bus in Doda district.
Officials said that a bus, carrying some 55 passengers, rolled down into a deep gorge at Assar area in Doda this morning, leaving at least five dead and injuries to many others.
“The bodies of five persons have been recovered from the site while it is believed that the tally is likely to increase given the nature of the accident”, they said.
“The injured have been removed to different local health facilities for immediate treatment”, the officials further said.
