Five houseboats damaged in a massive blaze in famed Dal Lake
Srinagar, Nov 11: Five houseboats were gutted in an early morning fire incident on Saturday in Dal Lake here, officials said.
An official said that a massive blaze broke out near Ghat No. 10 of the lake and engulfed five houseboats and an equal number of residential structures.
“The Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) officials rushed to the spot and doused off the flames immediately,” he said, adding that the reason of the fire is not known yet. (KNO)
