Four young boys from Pampore clinch gold medals in Thang-Ta Championship

Secure place in National Thang-Ta Championship
Pampore: Four young boys from Saffron town Pampore have won gold medals at the recent Thang-Ta Championship held in Srinagar.
An official said that the championship was sponsored by J&K Sports Council and organised by J&K Thang-Ta Championship at Indoor stadium Srinagar.
He said that these boys have secured place in National Thang-Ta Championship to held in Jharkhand.
The official identified the winners as Ahmad Shabir, Musaib Reyaz, Mohammad Haziq and Musadiq Rafiq.
He said that through their brilliant performance, they not only have won gold medals but also secured places in upcoming national championship.
Meanwhile, the players while thanking their coaches Shabir Ahmad and Maroof Hilal Sofi who have already played at National and International level said that they are going to work hard to show better performance in the coming event.
They also thanked their families for their continuous support and hoped that they will be supported and encouraged continuously so as to further excel their talent.
“We will try to win gold medal there as well so as get opportunity to showcase talent at international level,” the young players said.
Notably, the National Thang-Ta Championship is scheduled to be held from November 24 in Ranchi Jharkhand.
