Man killed in Pulwama as machine falls on him during repair work
Pulwama, Oct 15: A worker was killed after a repairing machine fell on him in a cold storage facility located in south Kashmir’s Pulwama village on Sunday, reports said
They said that the mishap happened at the ‘Go Fresh’ cold store, where Sheikh Muzaffar Ahmad, son of Sheikh Ghulam Hassan a resident of Chakoora, was engaged in repairing a machine.
He said Muzaffar suffered critical injuries as the machine fell on him during the repair work. Immediate medical assistance was sought, and he was rushed to Pulwama Hospital without delay.
Unfortunately, the doctors at the hospital had to declare him dead upon his arrival, reports said adding, that police later initiated inquest proceedings under section 174.
