Gunfight starts in Uri Baramulla: Police
Srinagar, Sep 16: An encounter broke out between terrorists and government forces in Hathlanga area of Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.
Reports said that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Hathlanga area.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed about the exchange of firing between terrorists and security forces.
