Police solves burglary case in Baramulla, accused held
Srinagar: Police in Baramulla solved a burglary case by arresting an accused person involved in the crime, a police spokesman said Thursday.
He said that on Sunday last police received a complaint from a person identified as Farooq Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Jabbar Bhat resident of Wailoo Pattan stating therein that some unknown burglars barged his Kiryana shop situated at Wailoo Pattan during Friday prayers and have stolen Edible oil and other Kiryana items.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 232/2023 was registered at Police Station Pattan and investigation was initiated, the spokesman said.
During the course of investigation, officers with the help of technical and human resources, zeroed in on one suspect identified as Sajad Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Ramzan Bhat resident of Wailoo Pattan. After thorough questioning, he confessed his involvement in the commission of crime.
On his disclosure, all the stolen property including edible oil and Kiryana items were recovered from his possession, the spokesman added.
