Hafiz-e-Quran from Pulwama passes class 10th exam with flying colors
Pulwama: A 15-year-old girl from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district has earned a unique feat by memorizing the holy Quran and passing 10th class examination with flying colours.
Hafsa Tariq, daughter of Tariq Ahmad Khan of Niloora in litter Tehsil of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district who was student of Valley Public School Litter has secured 493 marks.
Hafsa Tariq said that she was preparing to secure a position in 10th examination and she is happy over securing over 490 marks.
Hafsa said that she has opted for medical subject as she wants to become a doctor and has already started coaching in Srinagar.
She said that a student must be hardworking and consistent and if he/she posses these qualities, he will be able to crack and achieve any goal.
Hafsa while thanking her parents and teachers for their support said that she wants to serve the humanity.
Her father said that he initially admitted her in a local government school, however, later she joined a religious seminary where she memorized the Quran and was attending school only for few days in a year.
He said that after she completed Hifz, she directly took admission in class 5th at Valley Public School Litter from where she passed her class 10th examination.
