Mild tremors felt in JK, parts of Punjab and Haryana
Srinagar/Chandigarh, May 28 (PTI) Mild tremors were felt in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday morning triggering panic among the people here.
The quake was measured 4.9 magnitude on Richter scale with its epicenter in Afghanistan-Tajikistan Border Region.
The tremors were felt in Punjab and Haryana, including Chandigarh.
The tremors, which lasted for a few seconds, occurred around 11.23 am, seismologists said.
