G20 meeting: Delegates enjoy visit to Mughal garden Nishat
Srinagar, May 24: On the concluding day of the G20 Tourism Working Group meeting the delegates paid a visit to famous Mughal garden Nishar lying in close vicinity to SKICC where the delegates had numerous session since Monday.
The delegates were mesmerized by the beauty and splendor of the Nishat garden and most of them were seen clicking pictures and taking selfies.
Notably, the weather too turned pleasant in Srinagar after morning downpour which made the surroundings all the more beautiful.
As many 53 foreign delegates from G-20 nations, invitee countries and multilateral organizations are participating in the G20 Tourism Working Group meeting currently underway in Srinagar.
Notably, five foreign delegates who arrived here are from Singapore, four each from United Kingdom and Nigeria, three each from USA, Australia, Canada and Spain, two each from Brazil, France, Mauritius, South Korea, South Africa and United Arab Emirates and one each from Argentina, Bangladesh, Germany, Indonesia,Itlay, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands and Russia.
Seven delegates are from the European Union and other multilateral organisations like World Trade Organisation (WTO) International Labour Organisation (ILO) and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
This is the first major international event in Kashmir after abrogation of the Article 370 and reorganization of the erstwhile state of Jammu & Kashmir into two Union Territories in August 2019.
