Training Prog on ‘Promotion Of High Density Plantation, Rejuvenation of Orchards’ starts
BUDGAM: District level training programme on “ Promotion of High Density Plantation and Rejuvenation of orchards” was inaugurated by Dr. M Iqbal Baba, Chief Horticulture Officer Budgam at Sheikh-alam-Hall Budgam.
The programme was organized in collaboration with KVK Budgam.
Dr Kursheed Zargar, Assistant Prof. KVK; District Horticulture Officer Altaf Maldayal; District Subject Matter Specialist, Masarat Jabeen and Horticulture Development Officers along with officials attended the said programme. On the occasion, PPP was given by the experts on the subject.
During the programme, emphasis was laid on the production of quality planting material, employment generation to boost the economy of the UT Jammu and Kashmir.
The main aim the training programme was to take technology to ground level in order to double the economy of farmers and to have inclusive sustainable horticulture development.
