Update: Injured bank security guard succumbs
Pulwama, Feb 26: The Bank Security Guard was shot dead by terrorists at Achan area of Litter hamlet in South Kashmir’s Puwama district succumber to his injuries.
Officials said that soon after the bank guard was shifted to a hospital he was treated upon but later succumbed to his injuries.
Medical Superintendent of District Hospital, Pulwama, Dr Tula confirmed that the man was brought dead to the hospital.
The slain has been identified as Sanjay Pandith, son of Kashi Nath Pandit of Achan.
Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers—(KNO)
