FCS&CA seals 64 Mutton shops, imposes Rs 27000 fine on 17 erring traders
SRINAGAR: The Enforcement squad of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) on Thursday sealed 64 mutton shops from last one week and also imposed a fine of Rs 27000 on 17 erring traders.
The spokesman said that Rs 55200 was collected as fine from 197 erring traders during January-2023 across the valley, for violating E C Act.
Besides, 41 establishments also stand sealed.
Moreover, the erring lot has been reprimanded to remain careful in future.
