Biker killed in road mishap in Baramulla
Srinagar, Dec 15: A biker was killed after being allegedly hit by a vehicle at Janbazpora area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said that a 40-year-old bike rider riding a bike bearing registration number (JK05B 7812) identified as Abdul Majeed Najar, son of Ali Mohammad Najar, resident of Hajin Sonawari Bandipora was hit by a truck near Stadium colony, resulting in his instant death.
A police official confirming the death of the biker said that the truck driver alleged of causing the mishap has been detained. “A case has been registered in this regard for due investigations”, the official said adding body was handed over to the family for the last rites after completion medico-legal formalities.
