Update: SKUAST Professor accused of allegedly sexually harassing student, arrested
Sopore, Dec 03: The Professor at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Kashmir (SKUAST-K) accused of allegedly sexually harassing a girl student, has been arrested, officials said here on Friday evening.
They said that the professor has been arrested, while further investigations into the case was going on.
He said the alleged accused was arrested after family of the girl student lodged a complaint against him.
A girl student had complained against a RAWE programme coordinator of molesting her, following which an enquiry was initiated against the coordinator.
Following the allegations, students inside the campus held a protest demonstration demanding action against the alleged accused professor—(KNO)
