JK wins Khelo India Wushu Women’s League-2022 North Zone
Srinagar: J&K won the title of Khelo India Wushu Women’s League-2022 North Zone, played here.
J&K won 16 Gold Medals in the of Khelo India Wushu Women’s League-2022 North Zone at S.K. Indoor Sports Complex Srinagar from 4th Nov- 7th Nov-2022, a statement issued by the association said.
Dr. Darakshan Andrabi (Chairperson WAKF Board, J&K), was the chief guest on the Valedictory Ceremony. She Congratulated Sports Authority of India, Wushu Association of India, (WAI) and Wushu Association of J&K for giving the platform to the Women Folk in order to exhibit their best at the national & International Level. She also said, that J&K is turning sports hub for all activities and Kashmir is turning into Naya Kashmir. She presented Medals to the winners during presentation ceremony.
The other dignitaries present of the occasion were Nadeem Ahmad (Dy. Director SAI) Suhail Ahmad (Coordinator Wushu Association of India), Bhavneet ( General Secretary Wushu Association of J&K), Krishan (PO SAI), P.N. Azad and Kuldeep Handoo (Dronacharya awardee) organizing Secretary Khelo India Women’s Wushu League.
