BMS Litter among two schools selected for National level Science drama contest 2022-23

Pulwama: In a significant development, Government Boys Middle School Litter Pulwama and Army Goodwill School Handwara have been selected to compete in national level science drama contest 2022-23 which is scheduled from November 28 in Delhi.

An official said the two schools have achieved this feat after excelling in Zonal level, district level and state level competitions.

The official said the selected projects include pandemic social and scientific issues of Army Goodwill School which has bagged first position which the Boys Middle School has been selected for play titled Basic Sciences and Sustainable Development.

Earlier, the School Education Department (SED) organised JKUT Level Science Drama Contest-2022-2023 in Science and Mathematics under the main theme “Science and Technology for the Benefit of Mankind” on November 1 of 2022 at Teachers Auditorium, SCERT-KD.

The programme was attended by School students from class 6th to 10th across Kashmir in which two winner teams from district Kupwara and district Pulwama were selected on the basis of set criteria of judgment for their participation at National Level.

The event will be held at National Science Centre Bhairon Road, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on November 28 and 29.

The students of BMS Litter expressed their happiness over their selection and said they will perform well in the coming contest and will make their School, especially teachers proud.

“Our participation at national level will help us to gain more experience at bigger platforms,” the students said.
