The residents said the dilapidated condition of road was causing inconvenience to them

The residents said the road connecting the area with Tral town has not been macadamised for the last many years.

“Minor link roads are being macadamised everywhere but due to unknown reasons our road which connects over 400 households has been left unattended,” Basharat Ahmad a local resident said.

Ishfaq Ahmad Sheikh another local said the school going children and patients are the worst sufferers because of the dilapidated condition of the road.

“Some repair work was done on the road in the past but the road needs fresh repairs and should be macadamiser as well,” he said.

He said the locals visited the concerned offices several times to put forth the demand but nothing was done on ground so far.

The locals said the road has developed big potholes which gives tough time to patients and elderly people who commute via this road.

The residents urged the concerned authorities to look into the matter and macadamise the road to end the woes of the people of the area.
