Four terrorists killed in twin Shopian encounters
Srinagar, Oct 05: Police on Wednesday said that three terrorists affiliated with Jaish-i-Muhammad outfit were killed in a gunfight at Drach area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district. IN another ongoing encounter one militant was killed at Moolu village of the district.
Quoting ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, The Kashmir Police Zone wrote on twitter, “Three local terrorists linked with militant outfit JeM killed in encounter at Drach Shopian. Second encounter at Moolu is in progress.”
Meanwhile, an unidentified ultra has been killed in an ongoing gunfight at Moolu area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district. Though officials said that he was affiliated with LeT.
Police said that two among three killed JeM terrorists were involved in recent killing of an SPO and an outsider Labourer in South Kashmir.
Through his official Twitter Handle, The Kashmir Police Zone, The ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said, “Killed militants Hanan Bin Yaqoob & Jamshed were involved in recent killing of SPO Javed Dar on 2/10/22 at Pinglana in Pulwama & an outside labourer from West Bengal on 24/9/22 in Pulwama,”.
