Halting of apple trucks on Sgr- Jmu highway: Govt attaches SSP Traffic, Highway
Srinagar, Sep 28: Amid widespread outrage in Kashmir over stranding of apple trucks, the Jammu & Kashmir Government has attached Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic, National Highway, Shabir Ahmad Malik.
In an order issued here the Government has ordered attachment of Shabir Ahmad Malik.
“In the interest of administration Shabir Ahmad Malik, SSP Traffic, NHW, is hereby transferred and attached with police headquarters, J&K, with immediate effect. Mohita Sharma, SSP Ramban, shall hold the additional charge of the said post, till further orders,” reads the order.
