Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Celebration of Atmanirbhar Mahila Kisan Pakhwada held at Anantnag
ANANTNAG: Atma Nirbhar Mahila Kisan Pakhwada was held on Tuesday at JKRLM Block Dooru as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
At the occasion, traditional recipes of different vegetables were displayed under food festival initiative.
SHG members, community cadre of JKRLM Dooru and other civil society members participated in the program.
Project Executive MKSP-JKRLM Dr. Nisar Ahmad Dar delivered a detailed lecture through a PowerPoint presentation about nutritive value of locally available vegetables and their incorporation in daily diet charts to overcome nutritional deficiency especially in female folk and children.
Officials from Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, District Program Manager (Farm Livelihood), and District Program Manager (Non-Farm Livelihood) were present at the food festival.
