50 drug peddlers recommended for PSA in Sopore: SHO
Sopore: The Sopore police have recommended around 50 persons for PSA who were found involved in peddling of drugs, a police official said on Saturday.
Among these 15 cases have been approved and they have already been arrested under PSA while the rest of the 35 cases are still pending.
This was stated by the SHO Police Station Sopore Khalid Fayaz while talking to media persons during a programme held at Watlab area of Sopore.
“Our efforts are in place for a new and drug free Sopore,” he said.
He said the Sopore police was on a mission to eradicate the drug menace in the Police district Sopore.
“Police are working day and night and try to break the network of drug smugglers in the area,’ he said.
