Students rue lack of facilities at District Library Pulwama

Pulwama: The students of Pulwama and its adjoining areas on Tuesday complained about lack of facilities at District Library Pulwama.
The students said that District library Pulwama located near Mehjoor memorial higher secondary in the heart of Pulwama town faces space crunch and has no chairs available for the readers.
“At least one hundred students and aspirants of different exams visit this library on a daily basis but they are unable to study well due to scarcity of chairs, tables and other things,” Muzamil Ahmad, a local resident said.
He said that readers come here to access the study material available but the lack of facilities plays a spoilsport.
“Because of lack of facilities the readers do not get any benefit of the books and study material available in the library,” he said.
Another student said that if there will a proper seating arrangements at the library, that will result in an increase in the number of visitors to the library.
“We brought this issue to notice of the concerned authorities several times but to no avail,” the visitors said.
They urged the authorities to ensure proper seating arrangement and all sorts of latest study material available at the library.
The readers also demanded the attention of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama in this regard.
