Six injured as stray dogs strike in Sopore

Sopore: Around six persons including a woman were attacked and injured by stray dogs in Sopore localities in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district since last two days.
The locals said the six persons including a woman were injured after being attacked by stray dogs in Arampora, Batpora and Model town areas of Sopore.
“The canines have spread a reign of terror among people mostly school going children in various localities of the town,” the locals said.
Hospital authorities also confirmed the incident saying that they received six injured people bitten by stray dogs since last two days.
“The injured persons were provided first aid by the hospital authorities,” they said.
The injured have been identified as Javid Ahmad, Adeeb Ahmad, Ghulam Mohi-ud- din, Naseema Begum, Ghulam Qadir Bhat and Tanveer Ahmad.
