Har Ghar Tiranga campaign: Budgam Police paste Tri-colour stickers on vehicles
Budgam: The JK Police in Budgam on Sunday launched a special campaign to paste stickers of tri-colour with Independence Day message on vehicles. The event took place across all the police stations of the district with policemen greeting the drivers and pasting stickers on their wind-shield.
This is being done as part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” and “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.”
Earlier, Budgam Police conducted a series of events in last one week to celebrate the Independence Week. Police distributed thousands of flags including small hand-held ones, conducted Tiranga rallies with students and citizens and organised Nukkad Nataks, to celebrate the association of people with the National Flag.
On Monday, Budgam police is organising a racing event titled “Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom”. Hundreds of youth and school children are expected to participate in the said event.
