Distt Admin Shopian organises Mega Tiranga Rally
SHOPIAN: The district administration Shopian Saturday held a massive rally in main town Shopian under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign being celebrated under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
The rally that was led by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian Sachin Kumar Vashiya and Senior Superintendent of Police Shopian Tanushree commenced from Jamia Masjid market and traversed around the Clock Tower area, at the centre of the town.
All the District, Sectoral officers and hundreds of employees from various departments participated in the Tiranga Rally with tricolour in their hands along with social activists, civil society members, transporters and public.
People chanting slogans of Har Ghar Tiranga and patriotic songs reverberated through the town during the rally.
