Har Ghar Tiranga: JKP organises various functions across UT

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) on Friday organized various programmes across J&K in continuation of its Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Students, youth and locals participated in big numbers in these programmes.
Har Ghar Tiranga programmes were organized today by District Police Kulgam, Ganderbal, Kishtwar, Sopore, Budgam, Baramulla, Reasi, Pulwama, Poonch, IRP 14th Bn Channi, IRP 5th Bn Doda, IRP 19th Bn, IR 2nd Bn, JKAP 6th Bn and JKAP 11th Security Humhama.
As a part of the campaign Police and Civil Administration Kulgam organised the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to encourage the Students and respectable Citizens to hoist the National Flag at their respective homes & offices to promote the spirit of Nationalism. Besides civil and police officers, hundreds of students both from Government and private educational institutions participated in the rally.
The students also sang patriotic songs on the occasion. DC Kulgam Dr Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat along with SSP Kulgam Dr. G V Sundeep Chakravarty participated in the campaign.
On this occasion SSP Kulgam distributed National Flags among the Students and officers of civil administration and encouraged all participants and the students to hoist the National Flag at their respective homes as well.
In Ganderbal, a special Tiranga Rally was taken out from DPL Ganderbal to Beehama Chowk Ganderbal.
The rally was flagged off by SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar in which the students and the youth of District Ganderbal participated enthusiastically.
The participants in the rally sang the National Anthem, patriotic songs & waved the tricolor.
In Kishtwar, JK Police and CRPF organized a joint Tiranga rally in which students of various schools and youth of the locality participated. SSP Kishtwara Shri Shafqat Hussain led the rally.
In Sopore, a Tiranga rally was organized from DPL Sopore to Main Chowk Sopore in which officers and Jawans of Sopore Police and students of various schools participated.
In Baramulla, a Tiranga rally was taken out at Pattan in which students of various schools, locals besides the officers of J&K Police participated.
IRP-14th Bn. organized Tiranga march from Headquarters IRP-14th Bn. to Martyr’s Memorial Rail Head Complex Jammu in which Officers and officials of the unit, staff, students of the government Higher Secondary School Channi Himmat, Jammu Participated enthusiastically. Anita Sharma Commandant IRP-14th Bn. flagged off the Rally.
IR 5th Bn organized a special Tiranga March at Beoli Doda, in which students as well as officers/officials of IRP-5th Bn. participated. Enroute, the national flags were also distributed among the locals.
JK Police Budgam organized a Tiranga rally at the sports stadium Budgam. Around 500 students from different schools, senior police officers, civil society members were part of the rally. A similar rally was also held in Khansahib jointly by police and civil administration.
In Reasi the rallies and Nukkad Nataks were organized at sports Stadium Reasi, Katra, Arnas and Mahore. The rally at Sports stadium was led by Shri Amit Gupta SSP along with other officers and officials of district Police Reasi. Students, artists, youth and locals of Reasi district participated in these programmes.
In Pulwama, Tiranga rallies were organized across the district. The main rally started from district Jail Pulwama and culminated at Murran chowk Pulwama. Besides officers and officials of Police, CRPF and civil Administration, students of different schools, teachers, employees, youths, traders association, transport association also participated in the rally.
IRP 19th battalion organized “Special Tiranga March” in Keerian Gandyal area of district Kathua in which a large number of civilians, students of two higher secondary schools and prominent persons including sarpanches , panches, Lambardar besides Police officers and Jawans participated.
IRP-2nd Battalion Rajouri organized a Tiranga bike rally on from Battalion Hqrs Fatehpur to Martyr’s Memorial Gallery DPL Rajouri. The Tiranga Bike rally comprising 100 bikers of IRP-2nd Bn was led by Sh. Randeep Kumar Commandant and Sh. Khalid Amin, Deputy Commandant of the Battalion.
JKAP 11th Security Bn Humhamma organized a Tiranga march which was attended by the locals of the area.
JKAP 6th Bn. organized a Special Tiranga March and a Nukkad Natak at Mendhar Town. The Special Tiranga March had an overwhelming participation including the students of St. Francis kids world school Mendhar, students of other local schools and officers of JKAP 6th Bn. During the event, a Nukkad Natak on the theme “Aan Baan Shan of Tiranga” was also organized.
District Police Poonch organized Tiranga Rallies and various other activities like Special distribution drive of Flag/posters and storytelling competition were also organized at various places in District Poonch. A large number of students as well as civilians participated in these activities.
Bandipora police organized a cultural programme as a part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” and “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign” at Space Age Model Higher Secondary School Kaloosa Bandipora to encourage the students to hoist the National flag at their respective homes to mark the 76th year of India’s Independence and promote the spirit of nationalism.
Doda Police organized Tiranga rallies at Gandoh, Changa, Kahara, Bhalla,Thathri, Assar, Dessa and Goha. Led by jurisdictional Police officers, these rallies witnessed huge gatherings with the participation of a large number of School Children of various Schools and civilians of the area.
Rajouri police organized a Painting Competition at Police public School Rajouri to celebrate the week. The theme of the competition was “Indian Culture and Heritage .”
