Cop shot at, injured in Bijbhera Anantnag
Srinagar, Aug 12: Terrorists on Friday shot at and injured a Special Police Officer (SPO) at Kurkadal in Bijbhera area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.
A top Police officer said that terrorists fired upon a SPO namely Ghulam Qadir inside Dara Shikoh Park KurKadal Bijbehra this afternoon.
He was immediately shifted to nearby hospital for treatment. His status of health condition was not available at the time of this story was being filed.
Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
