Sopore boys shine in athletic competition in Bangalore
Sopore: Sopore boys shine and bring laurels by bagging silver and bronze in an athletic competition which was held in Bangalore.
This was a moment of pride for the whole Baramulla district especially for Sopore town after two boys from government girls’ high school Hatishah Sopore brought laurels to themselves as well as to the school. The duo, 10th standard students Pervaiz Lateif and Waris Hassan participated in an athletic competition which was held at Nagpur/Bangalore.
Both participated in 60 meters and 600 meters race competition in which they got 2nd and 3rd positions and bagged silver and bronze medals.
Both boys had represented Jammu and kashmir UT in Bangalore competing with hundreds of other participants from different states of the country.
