Chess Championship AAG Boys-2022 concludes at Shopian
SHOPIAN: The Inter-District Provincial level Chess Championship for Boys under All Age Groups concluded at Shopian on Saturday.
The concluding ceremony was conducted under the guidance and leadership of DYSSO Shopian Syed Noor Ul Haq and the in-charge activity Riyaz Ahmad Wachkoo.
The U-14 chess championship was won by District Ganderbal, 2nd position was bagged by District Shopian and the 3rd position by Ddistrict Srinagar respectively.
In the U-17 chess competition, district Srinagar emerged as a Winner while the second position was bagged by district Anantnag and the 3rd position by district Budgam.
Similarly, in U-19 chess competition, district Bandipora emerged as winner thereby while 2nd position was obtained by district Anantnag and the 3rd position by district Budgam.
At the culmination ceremony, trophies were presented to all the champion districts by the DYSSO Shopian.
