Open Taekwondo Championship held
Srinagar: The District Srinagar Taekwondo Association organized an Open Taekwondo Championship at Gindun Stadium Rajbagh Srinagar. The event was held on two days.
The Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA) also supported the event to make it a grand success.
The two day event kicked off on 16th of July and was scheduled to end on 17th of July. The event witnessed many participants from Pahalgam, Baramulla and from many clubs /schools including New Convent school Hyderpora and Holy Faith presentation school Rawalpora, a statement issued here said.
The event also included the participants from Khelo India Center.
The chief guest Dr. Shahid Iqbal Chaudhary (Chief Executive Officer, Administrative Secretary of Tribal Affairs Department also participated in the event and falicitated the winners.
