DC Kulgam finalises arrangements for celebration of “Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya”
KULGAM: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Saturday convened a meeting of officers to take a review of the arrangements put in place for the celebration of Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya.
During the meeting, it was informed that KPDCL would organise a series of activities to showcase the achievements made in the power sector in the last 75 years (Ujjwal Bharat Ujjwal Bhavishya Program) under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Two sites were selected for the events in this district where these celebrations will be held on July 25 and 27.
During the programme Nukkad Nataks, movies and cultural programmes will be organised to showcase the achievements in the sector.
The DC exhorted the officers and concerned quarters to work in close coordination for organizing these events smoothly.
