PHQ issues promotion orders of SI, 4 ASIs, 44 HCs
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters (PHQ) on Thursday promoted one Sub Inspector of ministerial executive cadre (Steno), four ASIs of Photography Cadre and 44 HC of Telecom Cadre.
The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting was convened under the chairmanship of the J&K Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh at PHQ Srinagar.
“After a thorough scrutiny of the service records, promotion in respect of these officers has been ordered,” the police hand out reads.
The DGP has congratulated the promoted officers and their families and hoped that the promotion will serve as an inspiration for the officers to perform their duties with enhanced dedication and zeal.
“Under order No 2370, Pervaz Ahmad Gulam of Ministerial Executive Cadre (Steno) has been promoted as Inspector and under order No. 2374, Over Singh, Davinder Singh, Deepak Amla and Ram Pal of Photography Cadre have been promoted as Sub Inspectors,” the handout reads.
