Comm Secy Revenue flags off first batch of SANJY pilgrims
GANDERBAL: Commissioner Secretary Revenue, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri Thursday early morning flagged off the first batch of pilgrims of Shri Amarnath ji Yatra (SANJY) from Domel-Baltal to holy cave.
Along the Baltal route, the first batch had 6823 pilgrims, consisting of 5384 males, 1293 females, 48 children and 98 Sadhus who were flagged off by the Commissioner Secretary at around 5 am. The pilgrims were very enthusiastic while embarking their journey towards the Holy Cave.
Pertinently, all the necessary arrangements with regard to the basic amenities, healthcare and security arrangements have been put in place along the track to the Holy Cave for the convenience of the Yatries.
