Gunfight rages in Kulgam south Kashmir
Srinagar, June 29: An encounter has started between terrorists and government forces in Nowpora Mir Bazaar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.
Reports said that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Mir Bazaar.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed about the exchange of fire.
