DC Shopian distributes awards among ‘Best Performing Schools’ under SVP
Shopian: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya on Friday distributed awards among the best performing schools under Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar (SVP) 2021-22 District Level Award.
The award ceremony was organized by the Education Department in collaboration with District Administration Shopian at Mini Secretariat, here.
In his address, DC highlighted the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation in and around educational institutions and asked the heads of the institutions to make Swachta as part of their school activities.
He said the awards function is a step forward to encourage school administrations for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
He distributed awards among Heads of Institutions of 25 schools for showing best performance in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and proper hygiene.
