Gunfight rages in DH Pora, in south Kashmir
Srinagar, June 19: An encounter broke out between terrorists and government forces in Gujjar Pora, DH pora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.
Reports said that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Gujjar Pora.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed the firing and said that the entire area has been sealed off.
