Cop injured in Bijbehara grenade blast
Srinagar: Suspected terrorists on Wednesday evening lobbed a grenade towards a police vehicle in Bijbehara town of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official said that terrorists hurled a grenade towards a police vehicle at Bijbehara resulting in injuries to a policeman who has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
He said that the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
“#Terrorists hurled a #grenade towards Police Naka at Padshahi Bagh area of #Anantnag, resulting in minor injuries to one police personnel. Case registered. Area cordoned off, search going on,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.
