Gunfight breaks out in south Kashmir’s Kulgam village
Srinagar, June 14: An encounter broke out between terrorists and government forces in Mishipora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday.
Reports said that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Mishipora.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed the exchange of fire and said that forces have cordoned off the area.
